Last year’s TriCity Arts Tour was a successful celebration of all that’s going on under our sun and stars—and on May 15, 16 and 17, a group of leading arts entities, business and civic organizations will join forces once again to present the TriCity Arts Tour 2009. It’s an event that promises to be bigger and better than before, with new venues, new participating artists, and a new spirit designed to showcase the incredible depth and vitality of the local arts scene.
From our grand old auditoriums to our cutting-edge gallery spaces; museums and libraries to saloons and sidewalks, the TriCities are a place of fantastic diversity, located just minutes from each other by train and convenient to anywhere in New Jersey. In addition to a homegrown music scene that rivals any in America, the TriCity Arts Tour 2009 will spotlight film, theater, sculpture, painting, photography, craft workshops, historical sightseeing and more than a few things that are next to impossible to classify.
The TriCity Arts Tour also welcomes volunteers to help distribute promotional materials, assist with directions and provide stage support at our information centers and outdoor performance areas in each of the three towns.
