Susan Pellegrini has been an award winning filmmaker and screenwriter for over 20 years. She has over 25 films/screenplays to her credit and continues to win awards in the field with cutting-edge filmmaking.
Susan recently took 1st place at the NJ State Film Festival and 5th place at VisionFest: Tribeca Film Festival, as well as winning the Beigel Screenplay Award. Her filmmaking ranges from shorts, documentaries, mainstream and children's films.
Susan was also the Communication Arts Coordinator at Sayreville High School for over a decade, where she created and developed an award winning television studio for student filmmakers.
Susan's commitment does not stop with the educational and filmmaking community. Susan is a savvy grant writer and has been awarded grants from both private donors and major corporations. Susan is creative and relentless in her quest to bring the historical beauty of a community to the public consciousness. This vision is apparent in her work as an executive board member of the Heritage Trail Association.
She is currently working on a documentary film, Greetings from Stephen Crane: The Asbury Tales.
