Dawn von Suskil has worked in the retail industry for 10 years as a visual merchandiser, for a chain of 15 stores. She earned her degree at  The Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) in NYC. in Interior Design.  With additional training in color and composition, Dawn went on teach herself mural painting.  In 2002, she and Danielle Acerra joined forces and began The Muralists Painting Studio (http://www.themuralists.com). 

In addition to marketing and painting, Dawn has designed and owned an organic juice bar & cafe, “Be Green”, first in Belmar, N.J. then in Asbury Park, N.J.   

She was co creator and the president of The Arts Coalition of Asbury Park(ArtsCAP)  during the first year of its existence.  In addition to that post,  Dawn had curated a monthly art exhibit of local artists and musicians during “First Saturday”,  an event put on monthly by Asbury Park to stimulate business.  As well as being a muralist, Dawn is also an oil painter. Her work has been exhibited at The Shore Institute of Contemporary Arts (http://www.sica.org) and Apex Gallery in Asbury Park.
