The Garden Marketplace (519 Bangs Ave) has a unique offering for artists that can't get display space in galleries, or can't afford to rent a space to display their work.
An artist, or a group of artists, can rent wall space to display their work, for a month, season, or on a group rotating basis. Our monthly charges are very reasonable, and such displays would benefit both the artists, the Marketplace and Asbury. For more information, please contact Pat at patbetty80@hotmail.com.
Acting Teacher Needed for Summer Program
Algonquin Arts’ Summer Stage is searching for talented teaching artists trained in acting, improv, and playwriting for its 4 week performing arts camp. Interested candidates should have a B.A., B.F.A. or M.A., M.F.A and prior experience working with children and young adults ages 6 – 16. Positions are paid; salary is based on professional experience. There is also opportunity for year-round project based employment.
